SLACNAC serves as the connected event registration, calendar, sponsorship, venue request, ticketing, and secure payment portal supporting Sparks Lake Activity Center and related Sparks network experiences.

Agreement

Use Of The Portal & Venue Systems

By using SLACNAC, submitting event requests, registering for events, purchasing tickets, making payments, attending activities, volunteering, sponsoring, or entering Sparks Lake Activity Center property, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the SLACNAC platform or related services.

Private Property Notice

Venue & Property Access

Sparks Lake Activity Center and related Sparks properties are privately owned and operated. They are not city-owned facilities, public parks, school district properties, or government-operated venues.

Access to one Sparks-operated property does not automatically grant access to other Sparks-owned properties, including cabins, lake areas, resort facilities, docks, or restricted operational areas.

Conceptual Features

Planned Amenities & Future Features

Some venue concepts, renderings, attractions, sponsorship areas, outdoor recreation features, event layouts, wedding concepts, and amenities shown throughout SLACNAC, Sparks Lake Activity Center, or Sparks Network websites may still be under development.

Certain features may not yet be active, completed, available, or operational at the time of booking or inquiry.

It is the responsibility of guests, event organizers, vendors, sponsors, and participants to confirm which amenities, attractions, spaces, and venue areas are currently available prior to booking or event execution.
Event Requests

Reservations & Scheduling

Submission of an event request does not guarantee approval, scheduling, pricing, availability, or final booking.

Events are reviewed individually based on:

  • Venue availability
  • Event size and logistics
  • Parking and traffic flow
  • Safety considerations
  • Staffing requirements
  • Neighborhood impact
  • Vendor participation
Secure Payments

Stripe Payment Processing

SLACNAC uses secure Stripe-powered payment systems for registrations, venue deposits, sponsorships, donations, event tickets, and related purchases.

Certified Secure Checkout Payment transactions are encrypted and processed using secure third-party payment infrastructure. Sensitive payment information is not intentionally stored directly on SLACNAC systems.
Vendors & Contractors

Vendor Insurance Requirements

Vendors, contractors, food providers, entertainment providers, decorators, rental companies, photographers, DJs, security teams, and related service providers may be required to provide proof of insurance prior to operating on-site.

Vendors assume responsibility for their own operations, equipment, employees, setup, cleanup, conduct, and liability.

Sparks Lake Activity Center, SLACNAC, Sparks Network, and affiliated Sparks-operated properties shall not be held liable for vendor actions, damages, injuries, losses, theft, equipment failures, or operational disputes.
Low-Cost Event Insurance To simplify compliance, SLACNAC may provide a future event-insurance link or form allowing vendors and organizers to obtain low-cost event coverage online.
Assumption Of Risk

Participation & Venue Risks

Participation in events, recreational activities, outdoor experiences, tours, sporting activities, gatherings, construction-adjacent areas, lake-related environments, and community events involves inherent risks.

By attending or participating, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

  • Weather conditions
  • Outdoor terrain
  • Construction or restoration zones
  • Sports and recreational activities
  • Crowds and public gatherings
  • Waterfront environments
  • Vendor operations
  • Actions of other participants or guests
Families & Youth

Supervision Requirements

Minors must remain supervised by a parent, guardian, coach, school representative, or authorized adult while attending events or activities.

Event organizers are responsible for maintaining proper supervision, emergency contacts, and participant safety procedures.

Prohibited Activities

Restricted Conduct

  • Unlawful activity or trespassing
  • Unsafe behavior or harassment
  • Damage to property or equipment
  • Unauthorized vending or solicitation
  • Blocking roads, parking, or emergency access
  • Unauthorized system access or abuse of forms/platforms
  • Interference with cameras, fencing, lighting, or security systems
Limitation Of Liability

Venue & Platform Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparks Lake Activity Center, SLACNAC, Sparks Network, Sparks Lake Resort, Sparks Trucking, owners, volunteers, affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages
  • Vendor-related losses
  • Personal property damage or theft
  • Construction-related delays
  • Weather-related interruptions
  • Event cancellations beyond reasonable control
  • Injuries resulting from participation risks
Governing Law

Texas Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Venue for legal disputes, where permitted, shall lie in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
